How It Works: See a Doctor, Get an E-Prescription and Collect Your Medicine in Turkey

Feeling unsure about getting medical care in a foreign country is normal. Here is the whole process, step by step, from your first message to your medicine and your insurance papers.

Message Us on WhatsApp

Step by Step

1. Send a Message

Message us on WhatsApp or request an appointment, and tell us where you are staying and how you feel.

2. See a Doctor

Talk to the doctor by video, or ask for a doctor to come to your hotel room or home in selected areas.

3. Get a Digital Prescription

If treatment is appropriate, the doctor writes a digital prescription and you receive a digital code.

4. Collect Your Medicine

Collect your medicine at a pharmacy with your digital code and your passport number. We help with prices and an open pharmacy.

5. Get Your Documents

For telemedicine and home or hotel doctor visits, a medical report and an invoice are issued for your insurance claim.

Questions and Answers

How does the doctor come to my hotel?

Message us on WhatsApp with your hotel name, room number and location. We confirm that a visit is possible for your area and agree a time with you. The doctor then examines you in your room, so you can rest without travelling.

Is the e-prescription valid at a pharmacy?

The prescription is written digitally. You receive a digital code, and at the pharmacy you can collect your medicine with that code and your passport number. If the pharmacy has any questions, message us.

Can you help with medicine prices and an open pharmacy?

Yes. We can help you with medicine prices and with finding an on-duty pharmacy that is open near you, even at night or on a Sunday.

Can I claim the cost back from my travel insurance?

A medical report and an invoice are issued for telemedicine and for home or hotel doctor visits, so you can claim the cost back from your insurance company. Refunds depend on your policy, so check it with your insurer.

Do I need a Fit to Fly certificate?

Only in some cases, such as late pregnancy, recent surgery or serious illness. Airlines have their own rules, so tell us which airline you fly with.
