See a Doctor by Video Call from Your Hotel, Home or Anywhere in Turkey
No waiting rooms and no travelling while unwell: talk to an English, German or Turkish-speaking doctor from wherever you are, day or night.
What Is Telemedicine?
Telemedicine is a medical consultation by video call. You tell the doctor how you feel, the doctor asks questions, looks at what can be seen on camera and advises you on the next step. It is fast and convenient for tourists, expats and anyone who cannot or does not want to leave their room.
What a Video Consultation Can Help With
- Common illnesses: fever, sore throat, coughs, stomach upsets, skin problems, urinary symptoms and many other everyday conditions.
- Prescriptions: an e-prescription sent by WhatsApp or email for a pharmacy near you, where suitable.
- Advice on the next step: whether you need tests, a scan, a specialist, a home or hotel visit or hospital care.
- Travel and insurance support: guidance for travellers, and help with documents your insurer may ask for.
How It Works
1. Request
Book an appointment or message us on WhatsApp.
2. Video Call
Talk to the doctor from your phone or laptop, wherever you are.
3. Follow-Up
Receive advice and, where suitable, an e-prescription for a local pharmacy.
When a Video Visit Is Not Enough
Some conditions need an examination in person, tests or a scan. If so, the doctor will tell you, and we can help you arrange a home or hotel visit, sample collection, imaging or a specialist appointment.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is telemedicine?
Telemedicine means seeing a doctor by video call instead of in a clinic. You describe your symptoms, the doctor asks questions and advises you, and can send a prescription where it is suitable.
Which languages does the doctor speak?
English, German and Turkish.
Can I get a prescription after a video visit?
Where the doctor thinks it is appropriate, an e-prescription can be sent by WhatsApp or email to take to a pharmacy near you. Controlled substances cannot be prescribed online.
How is the prescription issued?
The prescription is written digitally. You receive a digital code, and at the pharmacy the medicine is collected with that code and your passport number.
Can you help with medicine prices and finding a pharmacy?
Yes. We can help you with medicine prices and with finding an on-duty pharmacy that is open near you.
Can I claim the cost back from my insurance?
A medical report and an invoice are issued for telemedicine and for home or hotel doctor visits, so you can claim the cost back from your insurance company. Refunds depend on your policy.
When should I not use telemedicine?
For emergencies such as chest pain, severe breathing difficulty or serious injury, call 112. Some problems also need an examination in person, and the doctor will tell you if so.
