Pharmacy Open Now in Kadikalesi? How to Find the On-Duty Pharmacy
Pharmacies in Kadikalesi close in the evening, but one in each district stays open on a rota. Here is how to find it and what to bring.
If you have no prescription
No prescription yet? A video visit with the on-call doctor can sort it out, and the e-prescription arrives on your phone before you leave your room.
The on-duty pharmacy system
- Pharmacists can advise on minor problems such as mild stomach upsets, insect bites and sunburn.
- The on-duty pharmacy may be in a neighbouring district, so a taxi can be useful at night.
- Pharmacies (eczane) are marked with a red E sign.
- At night you may need to ring a bell or knock, as the on-duty pharmacy often serves through a small window.
- A rota decides which pharmacy in each district stays open overnight, on Sundays and on public holidays. This is the on-duty pharmacy.
- The name and address of the on-duty pharmacy are typically posted in the window of every pharmacy in the area.
What to bring to the pharmacy
- The address of your accommodation, in case the pharmacist requires to confirm your details.
- A note of allergies and other medicines you take.
- Your passport, since the prescription is linked to your passport number.
- Cash or a card; some pharmacies prefer cash at night.
- The packaging or name of the medicine you generally take.
